  • 1.  Scheduled Report opens as a blank page

    Posted Nov 25, 2015 12:38 PM

A weekly scheduled report (mht file) opens as a totally blank page and therefore the report is useless.

Now the problem is nothing new, there have been other people experiencing the same issues but Symantec does simply not care at all and keeps telling us (for more than four years now!) that there will be other formats for scheduled reports like PDF or HTML in a future release of SEP. Nothing has happened since then... good job Symantec. Ridiculous...

Does anybody have any idea what this could be?

What's the exact version of SEPM? Where are you opening from, your local client? What IE version and are you getting an error? This was an issue with IE in the past due to an impromper setting in IE.

Manager is 12.1.6 MP2. Tried to open on SEP Manager as well as other clients, doesn't work. IE version is unknown, will try to get that information.

What settings need to be checked/changed in IE?

edit: quick reports work, only the scheduled reports as MHT files won't display anything...

This was this issue I was referring to:

If you're not getting a script error then it may be irrelevant.

No, the page is totally blank. Thanks anyway, I'll probably just go on and create a support case for this.

Home, Monitors, and Reports tabs are blank in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Remote Console

You might want to take a loot at this..
