  • 1.  Scheduled Scans not running on unmanaged Mac

We recently updated to Sierra and SEP 14.0.1 and are having problems with scheduled scans not running. I found the following tech article https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH247163.html and have unsuccessfully tried to create a launchd plist file that would schedule the scans properly. I'm sure I'm missing something in the set up of the file to properly kick off the scans. I get an error that it is an invalid plist file. I have been able to utilize the SEP command line scanning utility, nortonscanner to run a scan on demand via Apple Remote Desktop, however this requires some intervetion for each individual computer I manage. Has anyone had any success with the launchd process and could advise me on how to construct the file as it seems like that would be the better way to go? Thanks in advance for any help!

Creating an .plist file is very fussy - it has to be saved in pure text format. No other encoding can be present in there.
