Secondary Drive showing as Removable Media instead of Fixed Drive

    Hi,

    We are trying to encrypt Secondary hard dive with Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 MP1 (Build 353) (PGP SDK 4.4.2). But we couldn't proceed as the drive is showing as Removable Media instead of Fixed drive.

    If the OS is miscategorising the drive as removable instead of inernal/fixed, then this is a Windows issue and should be invesitgated via those means instead.

    Alternatively, if it is a removable drive, you may wish to consider going down the SEE route, instead of using SED.  SEE contains a component specifically designed to encrypt data on removable media.
