    Hi all,

hopefully the Symantec community may help me ;)
I am currently searching for an encryption solution working with Apple MacBooks (macOS 10.12.x, 10.13.x), we are a company with about 4500 employees.

I do not know if there is little to no suitable information for macOS encryption or if it just hides behind a banner before I can find it...

    But to my needs:
    - Removable media should be encrypted
    - If an unencrypted device is connected, the user should get some kind of pop-up/information that the USB stick must be encrypted to get full access -> yes, no
° It should be write protected (only read access) or deactivated until it is encrypted
    - Best would be if you could locally configure a pin or password for the removable media, so every user can set their own personal password
    - Centrally managed (password recovery, policies,...)

Can Symantec Endpoint Encryption do that, if not is there something similar SEE can do?

Is there somewhere a good list etc with all the capabilities of SEE for Mac?
I only found a basic oversight that you can use SEE for Mac too...

I am currently installing SEE in a test environment and would greatly appreciate any help with configuring the policies to reach these goals.

    Thank you,
    Thomas
