  • 1.  Select from multiple images from system to be imaged

I'm using Ghost Corporate Edition 7.5. I'm trying to create a boot CD that will allow me to select from multiple images on a network drive and allow me to take an image from the system and place that image on a network drive. Can anyone point me in the right direction or to instructions on how to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose you could make a bootable drive mapping disk and include all the cdrom driver support and mscdex.  Then you can use the Floppy as a source for your bootable CD boot sector and put ghost etc... on the CD image itself.   In other words your bootable floppy that includes CDRom support is your .bin image for your bootable CD and then you just put ghost.exe and whatever else you need on the CD to be read after it boots and loads mscdex etc...  Microsoft made a win98 boot floppy with CD support you might be able to use that to augment the floppy created by the boot wizard to incorporate cd support.

You might find that BartPE is a good platform for doing this. I've detailed the use of BartPE already.. last post in this thread.
