I have upgraded my SEPM to MR 6 and have noticed that although the manager has upadated, I do not have a newer version of the client install package. When I go to my Admin Tab then Install Packages, I see MR 3,4,and 5. I do not however has a option to create a new install package for MR 6. I have done some light searching about this, and have not turned up much, so i do apologize if this is a duplicate issue that has been reported. Thanks

Strange, but you can upload new packages manually:

Go to the package screen and select Import on the left. Navigate to the SEP download and go to the SEPM folder, inside of there is Packages folder. You will find the file to import the newer packages there, one for 32 and one for 64 bit.

I haven't heard of anything like this.  When you did the migration up, were you physically at the machine, or was it over a remote connection?

When you did the migration, did you get the step that mentioned upgrading the schema, etc?   That's when those packages are entered into the installation.

Either way, you may be able to repair the installation through Add or Remove Programs (or, Programs or Features).

Did you migrate up using RU6a, or did you go straight to RU6 MP2 (11.0.6200)?

(RU - Release Update, replaces MR - Maintenance Release)

I saw such cases before with earlier versions :-) It was enough to import packages manually after SEPM was upgraded. Except packages were missing, there was no other issue :)

Sometimes, the upgrade  may not import the install  package. You would have to manually import  it  in SEPM
