  • 1.  SEP 11 Notifications - run batch - parameters???

    Posted Mar 01, 2011 01:22 AM

I wish to run a .vbs file as part of my notifications system, however I would like it to have some data about the event that caused it to be run. Is there some way that I can get this data (eg parameters on the command line) or by reading some database or log file? This sort of thing was easy using SAV10.

    Thanks

there is no parameter for the batch file, it would run the batch file if its located in the Bin folder..

    Thanks for your reply

I must say that I am rather dissapointed in the lack of a set of parametes that I can use. SAV-10 was quite good in that respect. [in sav-10 i had a vbs which, would send me sms when a virus was detected...] . Maybe in the next version?????

Is there any way to access the database?

Thanks. There seems to be a lot to read there. I will have to look into that.

The vbs doesnt actuall send the sms, it formats a message and passes it on to a little app that sends the sms
