  • 1.  SEP 11 to SEP 12 Updgrade now poor Outlook Performance

    We upgraded from SEP 11 to SEP 12 this week and have now started experiencing poor performance with Outlook 2003 on opening.

    It can take up to 5mins to open Outlook , sometimes completely hangs. Users are getting the message 'Outlook did not shut down properly last time'  first thing in the morning and it then can take several minutes to scan/check the data file before opening.

    Anyone else seen this since they upgraded?

    Running SEP version  12.1.671.4971

    Outlook 2003 - sp3 installed.

    Does this happen when you disable the Microsoft Outlook Auto-Protect function? What errors are you seeing in the Windows event viewer?
