SEP 11.0 failed installation W2008 R2 sshelper.dll, webshell.dll, vpshell2.dll

    SEP 11.0 Client will not install  hangs on sshelper.dll, webshell.dll, vpshell2.dll

     

    Says cannot register these DLL's. 

     

    Is it a MS issue.

     

    If i ignore these 3 file the client will install but does not work.

     

    Installing on Windows 2008 R2 standard. build 7600 64bit.

     

    Anyone have similar problem and a fix?

    What version of SEP 11 are you installing?

    Can you post the SEP_INST.log?

    From start - run - %temp%\SEP_INST.log, search for Return Value 3 and post the 10 lines above the return value 3.
