  • 1.  SEP 11.x java script error when accessing reports

I'm pulling my hair out here.  I'm getting the following error when trying to create/edit a scheduled report or a new quick report:

"Microsoft JScript runtime error: Class doesn't support Automation<o p=""></o>"

I was using IE6, recently upgraded to IE7 in hopes that this would fix the problem to no avail. The machine I'm on is running XP pro SP3.  Anyone ever run into this and/or know how to correct this?  It would be really nice if I could actually use the reports feature of SEPM.

    Thanks in advance

Make sure that the Internet Zone in the Security Zones settings is set to Medium.

I fixed the problem.  It required reregistration of a couple of dll files.
    msscript.ocx
    dispex.dll
    vbscript.dll
    scrrun.dll
    urlmon.dll
