SEP 12 for Small Business Edition is already out there for quite some time, What about SEP 12 for enterprise customers ? Are we expecting another MR / MP for after SEP 11 RU6 MP1 ?

Can anyone provides some heads up information for the new features and improvements in SEP 12 ? Do we have SEP 12 beta version for downloading and testing ?

Just to update you guys..  SEP 12.0 Enterprise is there in the beta testing phase... I would be providing you features as and when available. The feature which is getting renamed is PTP. PTP is getting renamed with Sonar..  (Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response).

I would also be trying to capture the screen shot as and when possible.

Hey Vinja, thanks for the update.. I also found another really nice feature of SEP 11 --  12.0 (Enterprise version) is while using the Migration and deployment wizard.

In the previous build of SEP 11 while we are pusing the client package it just shows the staus of the package being copied on the local system. I came to know that in SEP 12 this feature has been greatly enhanced, now we can monitors the wether the setup finished successfully or did it rolled back and troubleshoot accordingly. This feature will really help adminstrators to understand the failure ratio.

Hey guys, I did some look out for SEP 12.0 and here is some more exclusive information. Let me know if you like it :)

As, we all know that when we deploy the SEP 11 client, it gets the virus definations which was included in the original version. As an administrator I would always like to install SEP 11 clients with the latest virus definations. (and there are work arounds to do it.. officially not supported by Symantec).

I am really excited about this new feature, that now we can choose the latest defination while creating the package and then install in on the client.

Hi, Link shows a page where you can find more info about SEP 12, beta, including a data sheet for SEP 12.1 beta version. Also on that page you can register for participation into public beta testing for SEP 12.1 (both versions, enterprise ans small business). Public beta didn't started yet. As it is noted on that page, SEP 12.1 will go live on summer, so beta testing will probably be a couple of months before. Best regards, Vladimir
