  • 1.  SEP 14 Linux Client Red Hat 7.4 Support ETA?

    Just wondering if you have any info when you will have support for Red Hat 7.4.  Looks like that support was not added to 14 MP2 client.

    14 RU1 is due out shortly. No release notes yet though so have to wait and see.

    Have you tried manually compiling?

    For convienacne I leave the src files unzipped to do the compiles when needed.  I found that the compile will fail if Symantec has not specifically documented that they have support for the kernel.   From what I see the Red Hat 7.4 kernel is not supported yet.  Looks like it takes 3-5months after OS release before I will see support for the kernel base on what I have seen in the past.   I follow it closely because of the lag I have to specify on my RedHat servers to stay at a certain RedHat release level until I verify Symantec has support for the kernel.
