I, like many others here, recieved an email about Protection Suite 4.1 being released on October 5th. I couldn't find a way to download this update anywhere so I submitted a support request. This is the answer I recieved.
“This version upgrade doesn’t have any product, functionality or license upgrade. The change is that Protection Suite 4.1 would not include Mail Security for Domino and System recovery. These two products would have to be renewed separately once your maintenance contract for Protection Suite Enterprise edition 4.0 is expired. You can continue to use the current products as usual and no action is required from your end.”
So for those of you wondering were 4.1 is you can stop looking. I suspect this change is due to Veritas and Symantec parting ways.
