  • 1.  SEP blocking wifi out side corporate network.

    Hi Team 

     

    I have a client using SEP 14 ru1 mp1. He is ableto access his home wifi, office network and open hotspots. But when he connects to corporate network like airport where he need to enter his temp credentials is does not work. he has to disabled SEP to use the wifi. I am also not able to recreate the issue. the client is umnanaged and was never connected to SEPM earlier.

    It works when SEP is disabled? Has this always been an issue? What does the Traffic log show? There should be additional info in it in regards to traffic being blocked.

    The issue happened on 1st of march.But I got the laptop yesterday. No information was found on the traffic logs.

    Doesn't really make sense then. Unmanaged clients don't use location awareness so it can't be a policy. This works as expected when SEP is disabled??

    I checked if I could get the port number from the Airport's it team and the denied. So i guess I have to get logs when the situation arises again.
