  • 1.  SEP client for linux.

    Posted Jan 25, 2010 12:15 AM

    Hi,

We have 18 Linux clients and want to install the SEP client on it. I found that we cannot install the SEP client from SEPM console. I believe there is no way to do it

Is there any way I can manage the SEP Linux client form SEPM as unmanaged clients

    Any best practice or suggestions.

    Regards

There is no SEP client for Linux or any non-windows OS.
You will have to install SAVFL ( Sav for Linux ) that is included in CD2 of SEP download.
Install instructions are included in the SAVFL folder.

The latest version of Symantec AntiVirus for Linux can be found in the SAVLINUX folder on CD2 of Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.
