    Hi

I am using SEP 11.0.5002 with around 275 clients in 20 branches connected thru LAN and WAN (64 Mb leased Line).
i have configured GUPs in each branch office. SEP Clients are configured to get updates from GUPs from there local LAN.But when i check in registry about clent updation path ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\liveupdate)
under key ■ UseLiveUpdateServer    : The key is set to 1
UseManagementServer : The key is set 1
UseMasterClient             :  The key is set to 0

In Our scenario the client key should be
UseLiveUpdateServer    : The key is set to 0
UseManagementServer : The key is set 0
UseMasterClient             :  The key is set to 1

But i dont know how change the updation path settings in SEPM Console. Is it possible to change the keys thru regedit to appropriate values manually. is that change will remain permenant ??? Kindly advise in this matter......

First you double check the LU policy .If liveupdate server selected, just remove it.Select only Management server (For using GUP it is must.)and GUP .Assign it to the corresponding group.Assure that the policy is reaching the client. This you can verify with the help of policy sl. no.
