  • 1.  SEP Disables itself on bootup

    Hi
SEP 11 was installed on a laptop (all previous Symantec versions uninstalled and no other 'competition' installed).
    SEP disables itself on boot-up
The user can re-able it and it works but...
...SEP disables itself again on the next re-boot.

Does it disable all the three compoenets AV , PTP and NTP or just AV.

If just AV then make sure if you have Internet email, outlook or lotus notes autoprotect installed and turned off from the policy then the policy should be locked.

Do you see any errors on Evernt viewer or in SEP clients system logs ?

Our technical wizard has realised what's wrong and corrected the 'build'. Thanks for your response it was helpful.
