  • 1.  SEP EMBEDDED DB down

    hi everyone

     I got a lot of mail from sep like "Database of down". when I was restarted sep than sep manager is running. but one hour later our problems is continuing.

    There is enough disk space and we update the sem5 log but our problem is continuing.

     

    our sep version is  14.2.770.    

    error: unexpected server error.

    Enable Finest logging and let it run until the service fails. Open a support case and send them the scm-server-0.log file or post it here for review.

    As you mentioned sem5.log, I assume you're using the Embedded DB, check to see if the err.log file also exists, and what it says.

    thanks for your help. We have installed a new operating system and then reinstall sep manager.No problem on the Sep DB now  but client and server are out of date.

    Did you follow the DR processes to restore the SEPM to this new machine?

    If not, then you may find you SEP clients are orphaned as well, and need their Sylink files replaced in order to re-establish management

    The same issue, I replaced the Seem file on DB , then it's run for one week and back down again.
