  • 1.  SEP removal script

    Hi,

One of our client has SEP 12.1 running in their environment. All the SEP clients clients are password protected as well for uninstallation. Is there any script that we can use to uninstall the some dozens of password protected SEP clients?

    Thanks.

Can't really be done that simply. You can script cleanwipe to remove even with a password but it is not silent. Could also be done with PowerShell if you remove the password requirement, which I would suggest doing on the clients that you need to remove SEP from.

Thanks Brian for the reply. If we remove password from SEPM then is there any script from Symantec to silently uninstall? The challenge i see with removing password is we only want to delete bunch of clients from different groups. Not all the clients in every group

You'd need to create a custom group in SEPM and move those clients you want to remove SEPM from into this group.

I've never seen a script from Symantec for this.
