With help from people of this forum I was able to go ahead and install SEP 11. However now when starting the management console, we are getting a reporting component not found. I performed the checklist to make sure all permissions in IIS were valid, accounts were good, etc... however I did notice that the ODBC driver was missing in the system tab. Where do I get the sybase driver.. is this located on the CD? How do I install it and make sure I can connect to the integrated DB.

    Hi,

If this is a 64 bit machine do the following.

Go to %systemroot%\Windows\SysWoW64 folder (Example - Click Start -> Run -> C:\Windows\Syswow64 and click on OK)
Locate Odbcad32.exe & double click on the file
    Click on System DSN Tab
You will find the "SymantecEndpointDSN" listed in the window.
Now click on the CONFIGURE button and proceed with the configuration of the DSN for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

MR4 MP2 or prior versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection are not supported on Windows 2008 R2 Servers.
