    Hi,

I have a strange problem with my SEPM regarding the W32 definitions. It seems that this could be the same error than the 2010 problem. My MicroDefsB for the Win32 Client stays at 2010-02-16 rev. 005 but the Win64 defintions are up to date. I have cleaned all tmp files with this knowledgebase entry (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2010010617161948?Open&seg=ent) but it doesn't fix the problem. Additionally I have executed the lucatalog.exe cleanup and update but the problem still exists. For testing I moved my client on the SEPM to another group where the manually execution of the LiveUpdate on the client is possible and so I got the newest defintions for my SEP 32-bit client. Does anyone else has the same problem actually and a solution for this?

    Best regards

    Stefan

This workaround has not fixed my problem. The LiveUpdate afterwards via the Management console runs normally and quites successfully without any errors. Do I have the actual Content Catalog with 2010-01-21 rev. 381 or is there a newer one available?

How many clients do you have?
upgrading to MU5 should fix the issue...
    navigate to C:\program files\symantec\symantec endpoint protection manager\Inetpub\content
    open the contentinfo.txt file
you will find the numbered folder for your 32bit ,
what date do you see inside, delete whatever inside.
    update the liveudpate catalog
