Dear All,

I just want to know how can i schedule clients system to update weekly from SEPM i.e. server at a specific time say 8 PM Monday weekly ?

How can i do that ??

We have 1000 of clients available with heavy applications & these clients force updates @ 8 PM the same day whenever we update our server & get unresposive and then we have to turn off our SEPM .. Sad huh :(

You can configure the live update of sepm server for non peak hour

after download the defintion it distribute the client

are the clients in the LAN or distributed on WAN?

that time SEP will go in accelarted heartbeat, meaning it wont wait for any push / pull mode, if updates available it will push out

alternate would be to use Liveupdate administrator, you can find that in CD2 of your SEPM downloaded from file connection, here you can schedule the distribution

in the sepm liveupdate policy, u will set your clients to get updates from Luadmin

You can configure the the clients to Pull mode and increase the Heartbeat Interval.
