  • 1.  SEPM 12 to 14 Migration from W2k3 Server

    With the availability of SEP14, I'm looking into my options of going from SEPM 12.1.6 MP6 to v14 when it's currently sitting on Windows 2003 Server with SQL on-box.  Thinking of using Windows 2016 Standard for the new server and was told the embedded database would be sufficient considering the size of my environment.

    Hopefully I'll be able to migrate my data from SQL to the embedded DB and redirect my clients to this new SEP14 server.  Would appreciate any tips on whether this upgrade/migration is feasible or not.  Thanks!

    Easiest route may be to backup your existing SEPM install and run the DR process on the new one. Is your IP and hostname remaining the same?
