  • 1.  SEPM and Rapid Release definitions...

    Posted May 17, 2010 01:30 PM
    Hello,

    I have two question....
    1. How long does it takes for definitions from the point of Rapid Release to available for SEPM to get them with the Multiple Daily updates....
    2. Is it recommended to apply  Rapid release definitions to SEPM for its clients.....if yes, then how!..

    Sincerely,

Rapid release definitions are definitions that have not been as rigorously tested as the certified definitions and are only recommended if you have an infection and we are not detecting it or if you have been directed to use them from your technician or security response.

Rapid release is only recomended in case of a Virus Outbreak , there is no need to apply them on a daily basis.

Todays Rapid Relaese will be tomorrow certfied defintions ( Ideally)
