SEPM (Endpoint Client is not updating )

    Two months ago I had installed the SEP 11.0 bt now clients are not updating from server.Some users have net connectivity at their system so i updated that clients from net .All clients are connected with Endpoint Manager Server (SEPM).SEPM Server is updated but still clients are not updating.Can anyone help me regarding this?

    whats the full version of your symantec endpoint?

    11.0.XXXX ??

    check if u r manager has the update, u can check that on 

    admin

    servers

    right click on local site-select show liveupdate downloads check if it has the latest defs

    you also need to check if u r clients are talking to the sepm.

    open sep

    select help and suppport, select troubleshooting, do u seee server name ? or it says server offline ?

    Are the clients connecting to SEPM on WAN network?

    can you post the sylink log from one such client?

    The version is 11.0.6300.803.

    Manager is updated.

    Clients are talking to SEPM becoz they r showing status of scan and when i am restarting the client system from server they are restarting.

    whats the definition date in admin

    servers

    local site , show liveupdaet downloads?

    do u use IE9 on client machines?

    Proactive threat protection Tuesday August 23 r35

    Network Threat Protection Monday August 22 r1.

    No IE 7-8 using on client Machines.

    Hello,

    In this case, there are few questions and we would require certain logs to get to the bottom of the issue.

    Question: What Operating System is the SEP client on and SEPM on ??

    Are there any GUP configured?

    Please Collect the Sylink logs from 1 of the SEP client machine which you think should be updated.

    Suggestions: Incase, if the SEP clients are windows 2008 or Windows 7 or Windows Vista machine, please  disable the User Account Control Settings and restart the machine and check again.

    Hello sym_sam,

    Did you remember to assign installation packages of the new version of SEP to all the groups in the SEPM?
