  • 1.  SEPM High Availability Issue with Lan and Gateway Enforcers

    Posted Sep 09, 2013 09:12 PM

    Hi Guys,

So we already build the HA Setup of our two SEPM and it's working now, but one thing we noticed is that the lan and gateway enforcers are not visible on the Admin->Servers Menu on the Second SEPM, though it was configured and running with SNAC on the first SEPM, how can we fix this?

    Thanks,

Connecting the LAN Enforcer to a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

    I men,

I almost sure you need configure a replication if have a high availability because into the enfocers exist a unique Management Server List with all the SEPM.

I suppose you dont have Replication configure in your enviorement is correct??, or you describe me your enviorement for give mor e reference aboute the case.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards.

    Hi men.

Can you describe your enviorement because is more easy help?, you shared the database with the SEPM´s ?? DId you use the Embedded Database?? Why dont use the Replication instead of fail over configuration??

    Thanks.

    Wattup,

Yes we have 1 SQL server where the SEPM1(original) is connected then we add SEPM2 and is also connected on the SQL server, so basically it looks like a triangle, but only the SEPM1 have the lan and gateway enforcers visible.

    is this good enough?

    Thanks,

Ok, what show the managament Server List in your Policy Components, Could you catch an snapshot and put it?, because is more important have this parameter correctly configurated.

    Hope your response.

    Regards.
