One of my DMZ server is running low on disk space and has a total of 20 GB capacity. We've tried to clear everything, still most of the files are eaten up by windows.

But my other drives got ample amout of disk space. I wanted to know if there is a way to bring the drive space from D: to C: so that C: would take additional space.

Note: I cannot bring down the server or reboot.

Well you could just extend the disk on C, you would need to do this in Vmware though (if this is a VM). I don't know of another way to bring space over though from another disk.

    Here is another option:

Btw, Acronis Disk Director does it do any magic?

But, the article is for 11.0.6... :( We have 12.1.5

I used it for 12.1.5, should still apply. Works fine, in my case.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your query.

Instead to move it to another driver just simply perform SEPM upgrade.

What's the SEPM DB size (sem5.db)? I am suggesting to upgrade to 12.1 ru5 because part of the upgrade to SEPM 12.1 RU5, the SEPM converts all of the content from full definitions to delta definitions. This process is resource intensive and may take an extended period of time. After this process is completed, the SEPM will use significantly less disk space.

In a typical enterprise setup where 30 content revisions stored, the SEPM upgrade process must reduce 55GB of full content to under 2GB of delta content. This process requires significant resources to complete and is impacted by the performance of any available CPUs, CPU cores (physical/logical/hyperthreading), memory, and disks (I/O). On a server that performs multiple roles, stores larger numbers of content, or is otherwise resource constrained, this process may take a longer duration to complete.

Check the article base on your error and apply the changes

We are using SQL for Db and got 60-65 rev stored up. Cannot reduce this as the client size is huge. Thanks for the post any ways, I will keep that in mind.
