  • 1.  SEPM not updating definitions (today) - problem on Symantec-Side?

    Posted Aug 05, 2014 08:33 AM

    Hi all,

I have been trying to get my SEPM to update Defs, but it seems like it is not willing to do so ;-) Before getting complains from the users, I am asking for help.

What I have done so far:

Check Diskspace for DEF-Files: 30GB free - OK

    Check Database-Usage/Growth restriction: 77GB of 100GB - OK

    Restart SEPM: Done

I wonder why it sais that there are no new Defs available during Live-Update... ?!

    The SEPM-Version is: 12.1.4023.4080

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

The screenies suggest you were affected by the issue described in the below thread:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/definitions-not-updating-1

As Brian suggests, this should be sorted now.  Or is this a new occurrence?  If so, do you have any newer screenies or some logs?

As an aside, this is always worth following:
