    HEllo Guys 

    i need some help and information,I have plan to upgrade our SEPM server.

    current suitation:

    TWO SEPM SERVER WITH SQL DATABASE,Both are in Cluster.

    Both server is windows 2012 R2 server

     

    Is there is special special installation method required for upgrading the sepm server???

     

    or Its normal upgrade??

    Should be straightforward.

    Follow the upgrade steps laid out:

    Upgrade or migrate to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 or 12.1.6.1

    Disaster recovery best practices for Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1

    Take a backup. Backup the DR file. Stop the SEPM on both. Run the setup one at a time on each. Upgrade your clients.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting query in Symantec community.

    If we look at best practice guide there isn't any pre-requsitie even though database is in cluster state.

    Basically we are upgrading SEPM here not the SQL database. It's a normal upgrade.
