    Hi!

How do you perform monitoring of these servers? (Agentless or agent-based type)

    1. Server has installed agent-based Monitor Agent and is monitored by agent-based monitor policy?
    2. You're using an agentless monitor policy to monitor them, using PING metric?

    Thanks,

    IP.

    Hi,

    try to use this https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/use-monitor-solution-policy-know-when-windows-server-rebooting-or-returned-back-shutdown

If you have ping disabled, then probably you can use HTTP(s) agentless metric to determine if it responses or not, and if not then create rule to trigger a rule and raise an alert in Event Console.

    Thanks,

    IP.
