  • 1.  Service Desk 7: Add/Remove Equipment Slow to load

    Posted Feb 23, 2010 10:26 AM
When creating an incident in Service Desk 7 is takes about 2 minutes for the Add/Remove Equipment window to load.  This will become very cumbersome while our Help Desk is experiencing high call volume.  Any fixes or ideas as to what is causing this lag, and how to resolve it?

There are some performance increases related to this in MR1.  Have you upgraded to MR1 yet?

I don't have experience with slowness, but maybe thumbs up this recent thread:

How does something like this, where an important window, takes two minutes to load, make it to a production version??

We are experiencing a long wait time on equipment when going through the advanced incident, but the simple incident takes only a few seconds.  After looking in the workflows the advanced incident pulls in all of the NS collections and then searches and the simple takes the username and search by it only.  They are two totally different workflows.  One works well the other not so well (actually unacceptable).  It seems a little overkill to pull in all of the NS collections.
