Endpoint Encryption

Hi,
I am working with a project that includes distribution of signed files. It would be very helpful If someone could point me to the detailed documentation of this as I need to know the algorithm used when signing files.

We evaluate Symantec Encryption Desktop Professional at the moment but need to know more details as the receiver of the signed files may run some other software to verify the signature.

Do you want to know how PGP verifies the public key of the particular individual?

If you need to automate the process, I believe you would be better served with PGP Command Line.
