    Hi All,

    I have a All-in-One Altiris Notification Server 7.1 (Virtual Machine) for PC inventory & software deployment with MSSQL database 2008 R2.

    When I want to install asset management the following error is found!? what's the problem, i don't think it's related to the system date and time.

    I tried CMDB solution separately also failed. ( I installed HF1 for other solutions about 1 month before is fine.)

    Any one have idea? Thanks.

    Followings post I read and I tested the 80 port connection is fine via my proxy which is configured in the SIM already:

    www.symantec.com
    lindon.extranet.altiris.com

    Also not work...

    I've just reproduced this problem on my server, In case if I'll change date from 04/09/2015 to 01/09/2015, then same error message appears in SIM. If I'll set current 04/09/2015 date on server, then SIM successfully proceed to next step, without this error. No such problems appears if your date isn't 04/09/2015 and is set to future 07/09/2015.

    What is a current date right now on your server, where this problem occurs?

    Hi lgor,

    Thanks.

    As my server getting the time from Domain DC, the clock would be changed back after I modified.

    However, I would like to confirm, is that there is no problem if the day isn't 4/9 in your side? Thanks.

    Summary:

    - If current date is 04/09/2015 - 10.00 AM, but your server has date 03/09/2015 - 10:00 AM, then you will receive this error in SIM about incorrect date/time.

    - If current date is 04/09/2015 - 10.00 AM, but your server has date 05 or 06/09/2015 - 10:00 AM, then you will don't have such problems and SIM will successfully perform requests of licenses.
     

    Otherwise, if your server date is set for 1 day ago against current date, then you will receive this error in SIM, if your date on server is set to 1 or 2 days in future against current date, then SIM will doesn't throw such error.

    But my server date is correct, I think just the time a bit 5 minutes late with the GMT...

    Maybe this is a stupid thing, but try to move your time forward for 4 hours and click on "Retry" button on this error message in SIM. Just to clarification.

    Tired...also not work with same error.

     

    Or is that 7.1 version is not available to download already?

    I've just chosen "Asset Management Suite 7.1 SP2" and haven't seen such error. Works fine for me.

    • Have you tried to choose "Asset Management Suite 7.1 SP2 MP1"? Same problem?
    • What Country you have set in SIM and what download settings you have set?

    Same problem on "Asset Management Suite 7.1 SP2" ... I configured proxy already...

    really don't know how can I do next ..
