  • 1.  SMP support for Windows 2016?

    Hi,

    I know that support for installing SMP/ITMS on Windows Server 2016 is not available yet... can I ask when this is planned for and what version of SMP will have this support included?

    I was just about to aks the same question, as I was under the impression that 8.1 did support it; however, after installing SIM and then running it, it states in red that it is running on an unsupported OS...  :-(

    As other systems management vendors already support Server 2016, and as this OS has been out for a while now, not supporting this OS causes complications for customers that have a mandate to move away from Server 2012.

    From Product Management -

    "Server 2016 support will be added in the next release of ITMS code named Raptor. (as a supported OS for the SMP/NS). We are still hashing out a few details but its looking like we are targeting calendar Q2/Q3 of 2018. There are currently no plans to add retroactive support to ITMS 8.1. "
