  • 1.  Software Update Plug-in not install

    I have a fresh install NS 7.1 server and old 7.0 agent running Windows 7 64bit.

    After I push the agent to upgrade the 7.0 agents, around 10% agents would not install the software update agent,

    I used RAAD to check the agent, even the software update agent is not in the list of SWD tag.

    also found this three line always show in NS log viewer:

    If you use the Item Browser (you can find it within the Altiris Log Viewer), what's the name of the package associated with that GUID?

    Have you confirmed the problem agents are included in the target of the Software Update plug-in Install policy?

    Does the policy appear to be present and enabled when you use RAAD to look at the policies of a given computer?

    Has the package successfully downloaded for that computer?

    What is the run history for that computer?
