  • 1.  SQL Server 2017 Installation

    Hi Team,

    We are upgrading our SEPM enviroment and moving to SEP 14.2 and configuring a new Database server. We are going to install SQL server 2017 for this envrioment. Is there any best practices or installation instruments available from Symantec for SQL server 2017.

    Also, Which native client version will be supported by SQL server 2017. Is it still same as SQL native client 11.

    Nothing specific. The installer does all the work. You just need to enter in the SQL server details so the installer can create what it needs.

    I have gone through the configu settings page but there is no information available for SQL Native client supported by SQL 2017 and its refrring to SQL server 2012 and 2016 for Native Client support.

    Any link SQL Native client supported by SQL 2017?
