    Hi all,

    Just did a fresh install of Symantec Endpoint Protection 14 MP2. Management server installation was easy, first client install also went well. Thing is, the client reports Proactive Threat Protecion, Network Intrusion Prevention and Browser Intrusion Prevention as malfunctioning. 

    When i open Endpoint Protection on the client as Administrator, The status of these products shows as correct.

    What can i do to get the correct status when a standard user logs in on the client computer? The status icon in the taskbar also shows a exclamation mark which will cause users to report the "malfunctioning".

    Can you download and run SymDiag on an affected machine?

    Yes, i ran SymDiag. Problem is, SymDiag needs Administrative privileges to run. So it reports everything as "OK". 

     

    Any other thoughts?

    May need to have support look at this since it's the latest version. This isn't the expected behavior.

    Hi All,

    SEP Client show disabled after user login, then it show outdated. after some time it shows updated.

    I think client must show outdated instead of disabled,  and after some time it shows disabled. Is there is any bug in 14 MP2 version.

    I m using 14 MP2.

    You'll need to get a case open with support to look into.
