  • 1.  Surface Pro 4 won't boot after SEE credentials entered

    Posted Nov 07, 2018 01:15 PM

After powering on the device and entering SEE credientials a black screen appears for about 10 seconds afterwhich the device restarts. In attempts to repair it has been noted that the nvme storage can not be detected in a WinPE. The next logical step would be to try and physically mount the drive as slave. However, we will not be opening the device for repair nor will we be ghosting the drive. Attempts have been made to recover the OS through bootable media though without access to drive during this process this attempt failed. A decision has been made to wipe SEE from the drive in hopes of further device recovery. Is it possible to wipe SEE from the drive without our old adminisrative support on hand? Furthermore, if it helps, the device currently has SED Ver. 10.3.2 (Build 21424).
