We just loaded Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 9.0.3.1000 on a new machine with Windows 7, and received an error that there was a compatibility issue with Windows (didn't say Windows 7, just Windows). Also, in the control panel/security it says "Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition is on but is reporting its status to Windows Security Center in a format that is no longer supported. Use the program's automatic updating feature, or contact the program manufacturer for an updated version". Further, when I click to "enable" antivirus program, it will not enable - it tries for a second, but will not enable. Also, the live update will not do anything.
I've been all over the Symantec site and can't find what the culprit might be. I'm stumped, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
