  • 1.  Symantec is blocking Gmail Services like Docs,Calendar

    Hi,

    I have configured a Firewall Rule to Block Youtube in Symantec EndPoint Protection, Youtube is successfully Blocked but Endpoint protection is also blocking Google services like Google Docs, Calendar.?

    Any Solution?

    YouTube operates as one of Google's subsidiaries. Many YouTube links are actually google links. This is the reason why blocking YouTube is also blocking Google services.

    Try blocking using the youtube.com domain and not *.youtube.com wildcard & domain.

    See how you get on.

    yes I have tried but the same result. It also created an allow rule for google services like google calendar but it also allows youtube.
