Endpoint Protection

There are times that I will log into one or more of my servers and I get a wonderful error:

Symantec CMC Smc encountered a problem and needed to close

Looking at the more information

Symantec CMC Smc
Error Signature
szAppName: Smc.exe  szAppVer: 11.0.4202.51 szModName: ntdll.dll
szModVer: 5.2.3790.4455 offset: 0002a776

I have called Tech support and always it is the same answer,  update to the newest rev.

I am running this on a Windows 2003 server R2  SP2
This also occurs on a couple other Terimal Servers that I have.  
Same type Dell server, running same software, same hardware.

I am stumped on this one.

Just to Let you know that ... this also happens because of Corrupt uninistall of SEP client as well...

However, we need to check that then...


Also Make sure...when you are logged to the Servers remotely ...you are logged to the Server in the "Console" mode..

That might just help you....
