  • 1.  Symantec Data Center Security: Operation Director Appliance

    Hi:

     

    I recently deployed Symantec DCS:SA 6.5 MP1 with all of its features: UMC & OD (Unified Management Console & Operation director).

    every thing is going well from the installation and integration with vCenter, NSX, ..etc.

    BUT, I have issue in the Operation Director web page. it displays in not readable format in the browser, I tried all browsers with different OS also: Chrome, Firefox, and IE but with same result.

    any idea how to fix this ?!!

    Hi Izark1,

    have you tried adding the root rectificate of the console to the browser? Try steps in this link, it applies to UMC but might help.

    Is there a reason why you are sticking with 6.5? If you're interested in using the Agentless AntiMalware piece I'd highly recommend going with 6.7. The UMC and OD were not up to par until 6.6 MP1. As of 6.7 the UMC now runs on top of the DCS Manager instead of a separate virtual appliance.

    But it should be noted that because the UMC now runs on top of the DCS Manager in 6.7 it requires at least 8GB RAM.
