Good day everyone, we have and issue where we have Symantec Desktop Encryption installed on an end user's PC, this is ONLY a local installation and there is no central server. It is only on one Windows 7 PC.
The problem here is that the program is apparently scanning all of the ingoing and outgoing e-mail before being sent or received. The issue is, when the end user goes to send an e-mail what happens is, the e-mail that was sent will sit in the outbox for 10 to 60 second before it leaves the outbox queue.
We have tried everything possible, removing outlook add-ins, we have recreated the Outlook profile, and we have removed and reinstalled MS-Office 2013.
I have already tried going to "Tools----Options--- Messaging and I saw that the "secure email" box was already unchecked. I turned it on then back off and it still did not make a difference. When the user went into another PC/Laptop WITHOUT the Symnatec Encryption desktop, he had no issues withou Outlook 2013 Whatsoever. SEP is also installed on this PC and I have removed that add-in. We tested in OWA and there was no issue in sending.
We are of the mind that Symantec Desktop encryption is the cause of this.
Here is what I saw in the logs.

I really want the Symantec Desktop encryption to work ONLY for the sake of Encryption and I want it to have NOTHING to do with MS-Outlook 2013 scanning.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
