I'm going to install a detection server (Network prevent for mail ) v15.1 (forword mood) and this is the first time to me and I would like to ask about the problems that could face me while the installation and what should i do to prebare for this installation (the pest practise configuration )

and what about the configuration on the Exchange at the down time ?

Everyone's environment is different, so there would be no generic problems to look for. Follow the guides and you should be good-to-go.

By default DLP listens on port 10025 (Server Socket Port)and send to the next hop on port 10026(MTA Resubmit port) , please adjust these ports accordingly when send the traffic from the exchange to DLP and DLP to the next hop 

You can change these ports on the network prevent for email from server settings. and restart the services after that.

Please make sure that the DLP can handle the email traffic to not cause any delays to the email flow.
