We have two clients working on an application used internally. There is a webconfig which calls the SMTP service on Port 25 to recieve emails each time a workflow is excuted.

Here on the localhost the workflow is executed successfully but only the notifcation is blocked by symantec as shown attached.

SEP client was recently updated SEP 12.1.6860.6400.

Pls tell me how can I resolve this error

    Hello Everybody,

I have posted in these forums, several times  and many a times with little or no reply at all. This is where I require Expertise review.

Expectating support to solve this issue

I cannot  remove SMTP email protection, that part of Security policy implemented ., also wont it give rise to more issues related to email?

can you try to remove the smtp protection on that particular affect client to see if that fixes the issue.

then you can engage symantec support according to find out a resolution.

The email scanning plugins in SEP have very little configurability. If disabling fixes the issue, you're going to need to get a support case open. This forum does not provide official Symantec support.

I can tell you the email scanning plugin causes problems from time to time. Do you have email scanning at your gateway? If so, uses this plugin is redundant.
