File Share Encryption

I saved the 16 character recovery password to my cloud service - but it didn't sync and my main password is failing.  Presumably, the password is not recoverable - what's the best way to recover my laptop - is there a way to wipe it from a boot disk and start again?

If this was managed by a Symantec Encryption Management Server, then an admin should be able to provide you with a Whole Disk Recovery Token to regain access to the disk.

Otherwise, if you are resigned to losing all the data on the disk, it is possible to boot to OS installation media, delete everything, and start anew.
