  • 1.  Symantec End Point protection faild to update the virus definition

    Hi to all
    Our symantec end point protection manager (version 12.1.4) from the previous week has start failed to update the virus definition.
    The point is: when i go from Admin - Servers - Local Site and press Download live update content the update finish successfully.
    Your setup for the live update is daily from 22:00 to 2:00 because we have a very slow internet connection

    I have the same problem with my equipment, but in my case, use a group update provider.

    Could you please provide Log.liveupdate ?

    Do you have a the log.liveupdate to provide? Can you run the symhelp tool on it?

    My server is upgraded without problem, the problem is with my end points. Use a group update provider for the end points

    Make sure SEPM installed drive has sufficient disk space. 

    If disk space is sufficient I would recommend to repair the SEPM.

    We have as lease 70GB free in our HD.

     

    In my case the path for the Log.LiveUpdate is in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate
