  • 1.  Symantec Endpoint Encryption 8.2.1 MP5 supports RAID?

    I have looking for verification of whether or not Symantec Endpoint Encryption support RAID controllers and hard drives configured in with a RAID configuration using the controller?  All and all does the product support RAID officially?

    AFAIK, SEE-FD does not support RAID, though it has been known to work on some laptop models that are set to work in RAID mode in BIOS (presumably without actually implementing RAID).

    Does anyone have information on when it will support RAID?  It is not like this technology is new.  :)

    I'm afraid you'll need to contact Symantec directly for further information on product development.  Perhaps you might want to check out the PGP version of the disk encryption software too?  It appears to support RAID to some degree:
