    Hello Every one,

     

    Can any help me , i did forgot my admin password as i read about resetpass.bat tool . cany anyone send me that file to reset my password

    i can find that file in my Program files .ASAP.

    You need to call support to get the tool for 12.1

    its no more in 12.1. you need to click on the reset password at the log on only.

     

    To verify the Email Address (admin Mail Reciptants):

    1.Open Windows Explorer on the computer that runs Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
    2.Locate the <Drive>:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\etc folder.
    3.Double-click the sepm_settings.properties file and open with notepad:

    admin Email Address is here:
    adminMailReciptants=......

    You can request the tool for your SEPM version with Symantec support. Once you have the resetpass batch file, you have to :


    1. Save this file on desktop and rename it to resetpass.bat

    2. Copy and paste it to :\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools folder”

    3. Run it.
     
    New username : admin
    New password : admin

    But it is recommended to call Symantec Support and request for resetpass.exe tool for your SEPM.
