Long story short, our SEPM server crashed. I was able to backup my installation packages and the sem5.db database file.
I went through the installation *New Site and wanted to restore the clients back.
Can I just copy the sem5.db file over to the new location?
    restore the services????

The old server is no longer functional at all.

Here are the directions for 11 for doing this process, hopefully this works for you.

Title: 'Perform a disaster recovery when the database backup/restore process fails using the "Database Backup/Restore Wizard" for an Embedded Database'

    Im stuck at step 28.

    1. Go to Administrative Tools> Data Sources ODBC
    2. Ensure the database connectivity after the changing the database file location to:
      \Program Files\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db1\sem5.db

why use db1???? should this not be the db folder that I moved in step 26?

so I followed the steps exactly, but none of my clients have transfered over nor the groups that they were in?

I also have multiple JKS files.. which one do I use? the most recent?

Copy server.xml from  \Program Files \Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\conf and keystore.jks from \Program Files \Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\etc  old server to new server run the management server configuration wizard and try ...

Also keep the same server name and IP address for new server..
